Return the value of fields in Outlook Contacts
I am using office 2000. Using VBA in Excel, would it be possible to return
to a variable a value of a field in Outlook Contacts? The contacts are in a public folder on a shared drive. I would like to return multiple variables in order to write the values to a from in Excel. If it is possible, I would greatly appreciate an example. Thanks. |

The following KB articles may be useful references. The second relates to Outlook and Access, however, it could easily be adapted to Excel. http://support.microsoft.com/default...23120121120120 http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;290792 -- David Lloyd MCSD .NET http://LemingtonConsulting.com This response is supplied "as is" without any representations or warranties. Note that there is a User dialogue that pops up (depending on your Outlok
service Pack) that will prompt the user with a dialogue letting them know that the contacts list is being accessed. It is a Virus Protection thing so there is no easy way around it. -- HTH...
