Need Help ASAP

I have nine check boxes beneath each other and when you select
checkbox it places a simple value to the cell behind it of 1 if it
checked and 2 if its not, of which those values determine if certai
forumulas are run. My problem is that if I only select say
checkboxes and go to print or print preview they all get "checked" b
excel automatically. How do I stop excel from doing this. It's weir
though b/c excel places a check mark in the box, but it doesn'
activate the formula which is good, but its more of a visual problem.
ANyone else have this problem

I've never seen excel do this...

What kind of checkboxes--from the Forms toolbar or from the Control toolbox
toolbar?

Do you have linked cells or do you use code to change those values?

What's your code (if used) look like?

Do you have anything in the workbook_beforeprint procedure?
