Use VBA to allow you to select a file name from a directory (public drive/server)
What I have set up, is a macro to import text files to excel, and extract the relevant data to another sheet. What would like to be able to do, is get a listing of the entire folder the files are in, and allow the user to select one of those files from a list. That selected file name would read into a string variable, which could then be used by one of my procedures. Many thanks in advance Justin -- turnerje ------------------------------------------------------------------------ turnerje's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=25694 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=471155 |
