Assigning numeric value to text in drop-down menu
I am trying to create a drop-down list of materials and would like to
assign different numeric values to each material,which will be used in calculations i.e. Under drop-down list of Materials, Wood=1, Steel=2, etc. Please help!! -Aarthi |

What you are describing is a 2 column combobox. Create the combobox and in
its properties set the columncount to 2. If you want to hide the numeric values from your users set its column's width to zero.
