Default Copying range to other workbook

Why doesn't the following code work (subscript out of range):

Workbooks("Book3").Sheets("Sheet1").Range("Copied" ).Value =
Workbooks("Book3").Sheets("Sheet1").Range("Origina l").Value

The defined ranges are only 5 celles (a1:a5)
Actually I want to transfer a large range (with only numbers) from one
workbook to the other.

Thanks for replying,
Jan Bart
