Checking before opening "activate:newwindow" to see if already opened
When a macro button (name = ON") is pressed, I want to open a new window, if
not already opened, with a wildcard extension of "*:2" and then close if if this macro button is pressed (name = Off). Currently, when I press ON, it just keeps opening a new window and gives extensions ":2", ":3", ":4", etc. Thank you for your help -- Message posted via http://www.officekb.com |

Post the offensive code. It is easier/more useful to you to edit your
existing code than to hypothesize a lot of information and write a new macro. I assume this new window is relative to the current workbook.
