How to pivot and display 'text' in the data section, no Counts!

When I create my pivot table and place the 'text' field in the Data section,
the Pivot defaults to the Count function and gives a count of hits. I want to
see each of the hits, separated by a column. I can do this easily in Brio,
but I want to keep it in Excel. Help!!...

Pivot tables are designed for aggregating data, not for creating heirarchy
reports of text items. In general what you want is a little out of the depth
of pivot tables.
