automate data transfer from hyperterminal to excel
 

I have a USB device connected and can interface with in HyperTerminal to view
data. Presently I use the "capture text" function to save data into .txt
files, each file is then opened in Excel for viewing and analyzing data.
This process has proven quite cumbersome, thus my question is: Can I somehow
automate the data transfer from hyperterminal to excel? ...or somehow load
the data directly into excel?
