I already have 3 worksheets each with a macro that you have to use a key stroke to run - how can I make them run by say having a cell with "press here" written in it to activate that worksheets macro by the mouse? -- sparx ------------------------------------------------------------------------ sparx's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=16787 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=467252 |

you can insert a text box (drawing toolbar) and assign a macro to the box. to get there right click onto the edge of the box size the text box to fit a cell and delete the borders if you like. -- bill k ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bill k's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...nfo&userid=821 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=467252 |

why not use a button???........... Not sure, I've always used small pictures or text boxes and assigned the macro's to them. What is the advantage of using a button? At least with the pictures or textboxes you can "translate" the function of the macro into a picture. Open to suggestions and always willing to learn though Thanks -- bill k ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bill k's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...nfo&userid=821 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=467252 |
