Explorer Hangs on "Reply"
 

ISSUE: Could not "open in new window" any links from Explorer.

Out of the Blue I was unable to post to this newsgroup. went to google and
eventually found the cure but not the problem. Thought I'd post answer here
in case anyone has encountered the same.

Ended up needing to use MSDOS command on a few dlls found at this microsoft
link. (cut and paste if you have my problem clicking won't work.)

PS: I don't mind typing stuff into MSDOS as MS recommends, but how many of
our users would we really trust to do that? Shouldn't Billy's boys write a
macro to click on to fix this kind of stuff....

You may want to post this in one of the internet explorer newsgroups.

You may even want to phrase it as a question to see if others have a better way.
