How can I auto-center checkboxes in cells
 

I have a list of checkboxs (made from the Forms toolbar)in a column, one
per cell.
When I change the row height the checkboxes remain at the top of the
cells. Is there any way to have them remain in the center?

look in help "add an ActiveX control"

right click check box and
Properties: Review /reset the properties of the check box and / or
Format Control: format control move & size with cell

anyhow most of your controls for a spreadsheet check box are in those two
right click spots
