VBAProject still visible after closing workbook

I guess I don't know if this is a problem or not, but while I was working in
the VBE I noticed that each time I closed and re-opened my workbook, the
VBAProject did not close. If I create a new shet and close it, the
VBAProject goes away. Is this normal behavior? Will this keep consuming
memory?

Thanks for the help.

Thanks a bunch! The registry change
(HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Excel \Addins\Office.Desktop.Google.com\LoadBehaivor=2) worked for me.

Thanks again!

VBAProject still visible after closing workbook

Hi Ron, Terry

Thanks for pointing this one out.
For reference, Google-Desktop is not the only culprit in this type of
problem. If anyone should happen across AutoDesk Vault 5, which includes an
Excel Plug-in, the registry Key "LoadBehavior" is found in the following
registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\excel\ Addins\ExcelVaultAddinApp2003.Addin

Does anyone know why loadbehavior is altered for excel?

Cheers,
