SQL Query - Ability to Refresh Data is Lost
I have several spreadsheets that are set up to download data from our business software into Excel (2003). On occasion I have had instances where the query seems to have lost its link to the data souce, it almost looks like someone has done a paste values over the data as I am no longer able to do a refresh to update the information. Although this is a possibility as I am not the one using the spreadsheets on a regular basis, I think it is unlikely since the worksheets affected are in fact hidden, and all the users have to do is click on a button that has a small macro linked to it that just does a refresh all command. Has anyone come across this before and perhaps know the cause of this ?
