update prompt message
I have a spreadsheet which retrives data from Access database using ADO.
I got message to confirm update all the time, but the retrive data code is on button click. Is Excel smart to know that there is link database even the retrive code does not run? Can you just set the message off? Any information is great appreciated, |

Look up DoCmd.SetWarnings False in Access help - that will turn your warnings off be sure to turn it back though I think there is a UI version under tools options too. cheers Simon -- Simon Murphy ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Simon Murphy's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=26538 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=398016 |
