Restricting data entry
I have a project that is probably better done in Access but the ultimate end
users do not have this application. Therefore, I will need to create it in Excel. The most pressing issue is anyone should be able to enter or update a record but there will be very limited ability to delete a record or any history pertaining to that record. Can this be done? Any suggestions on how this can be accomplished would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help. -- JT |
Restricting data entry
John Walkenbach has an enhanced dataform at:
http://j-walk.com/ss/dataform/index.htm (and the code is available for a minor fee ($20 USA), if you want to modify it to remove/modify the delete portion.)
