Visual Sourcesafe and VBA

Until ExcelXP there was an addin to use Visual Sourcesafe to to
versioning for VBA code. Excel2003 does not offer a developer edition
any more. Are there any other solutions for doing versioning on VBA
code? Does the old control still work with Excel2003?
