excel to access and back
in excel i have a single row range A1:Z1
how can i get that to be an entry into microsoft access? then also, in excel could i do a vlookup from access? or what would be a good way to get data out of access? thanks in advance |

Excel to Access. Best way might be to link access to the xl range. in acess Findget external date linkfollow the wizard. you can then write and append query to append it to any table. access to excel. again link via microsoft query.(MSQ) in excel DataGet external datanew Database queryfollow the wizard. here you can link to access tabel or access querys. excel to access. technical point. declare your range in xl a named range then link access to the named range instead of the entire sheet. access sometimes gets confused with xl's "used space".
