cells that start with "Slot"
 

I have a range of data in table A1!D50. Some of the cells contain mis. data.
The balance start wtih the word "Slot" (without the double quotes). For
example, Slot 5 or Slot 15.

I want to count all the cells where the text begins with "Slot"

=Countif(A1:D50,"Slot*")
