Row Conditional Formatting

I would like to apply conditional formatting to a row if there is a
value (any value) in a particular cell within that row. Could someone
please explain to me how this would be done.

Thank you! :)

Row Conditional Formatting

Try this:

1. Select the rows to be formatted
2. Choose FormatConditional Formatting...
3. From the first drop-down list, choose Formula Is
4. In the text box, enter a formula that refers to the active cell i
the selection.

For example: =$B275

Use an absolute reference to column B ($B), to ensure that th
conditional formatting in all columns refers to the value in column B
Otherwise, the formula will be adjusted in each column, and won't wor
properly.

Which should be the default. I use Conditional Formatting all the time. But
I have never used the default Cell Value Is.
