"one time" Link Cell
 

I have 12 contracts/price sheets.
Each contract cover sheet needs to have the salesmans name on it.
I made up a seperate file (XYZ) with my name in cell B2,
Linked the appropriate cell of each contract to the file XYZ.
When I change the XYZ file, the contract cell changes nicely.
However, I DON't want to have the contracts, when opened, always question
whether the link is to be updated, or not. Indeed, I'd rather not have any
external file links at all. I also find that just having the question/message
disappear (ie: the link being processed without the question) to be
potentially dangerous.

Is there a way to quickly have the salesman's name entered on each contract,
short of opening each contract, entering name, saving, opening next contract,
entering name......................................
