VBA problem going from Office 2000 to Office XP
I inheirited an Excel document that has VBA embedded in it. The document and
VBA scripts were created in Office 2000. We now use Office XP. When the document is opened, a script runs that formats some of the cells in a few worksheets. When I open the document in XP I get an error stating that there were some format errors. If I save the document in XP and reopen it, the error goes away. Can anyone explain why this happens? Is it possible that the calculations being done in the document are no longer valid because of upgrading to XP? Is there a way to get a list of what changed from 2000 to XP (ie dll's moved, VBA libraries restructured, etc.) Thank you in advance, AJL |
