Can I select a range based on the cell's contents?
Have want to make a pie chart of some data. The problem is that I do
not want to use every row, only certain rows based on the content of a particular cell in that row. Is there a way to do this? When the chart is asking for the data range, is there some type of formula I can enter to select only those rows base on the contents of a cell in that row? |

Can I select a range based on the cell's contents?
Hi,
Perhaps you could use Data Filter (Data ==Filter) to select your data before invoking the chart. Then highlight the filtered data when the Data range is requested.
