Time after time I set the scrollarea property to a given worksheet to
$A$1:$K$32. But when I close the VBE it blanks out and the property doesn't
take hold.

Any ideas please?

By the way -- the file was stored in the Outlook Temp folder, since it had
been opened from an e-mail (attachment). If that was the reason, shame on
me. I resaved the file to a "proper" location and the behavior stopped being
at issue. Wierd!

Hi Bill,

Are you closing the workbook?

The ScrollArea property is not persistent so needs to be reset when the
workbook is re-opened, e.g.:

Sub workbook_open()

Dim sh As Worksheet

Set sh = Sheets("Sheet1")
sh.ScrollArea = "A1:K12"

End Sub

Regards,
Norman
