More than three conditional formats

Fellow forum users,

I have been visiting the Excel forums for a few years now, occasionally with
a question, occasionally with an answer. One of the most commonly
unsatisfactorily-answered questions, IMHO, is the old "how do I get around
the 3 conditional format limit" one. So I've developed a spreadsheet, which
will assumably eventually become an add-in, to accomplish this task and I
would like to share it with the community.

Yes, I've seen Frank & Bob's CFPlus and, no offense to you guys, but I can't
get it to work reliably and on a couple of occasions, its hung up my
application completely.

I can't seem to attach files to a posting (although this is the first time
I've ever tried to, I assume this functionality was removed with good reason)
so anybody who would like to get a (beta, very beta) copy, please email me at
(yes, I'd like to avoid getting spam at my permanent
email address) and I'd be happy to send it to you. Its just over 1/2 a meg.

I especially would appreciate any comments/criticism/etc from the resident
MVPs and experts (Chip, Debra, Harlan, John, Frank, Bob, Tushar, Alan, Ron,
Jim, David, Ron, Nick, etc)

Its not for sale, its just there to use or not. I'm not a software developer
and I don't want anything in return. I'm just trying to return something to a
community that has helped me out countless times in the past. There are no
conditions of use, no passwords, just let me know what you think and I will
try my best to incorporate the suggestions I think will improve the utility.

One more thing: you can email me your responses or respond to this posting
and I'll endeavor to keep checking both, but my responses may not be
lightning fast since my net-nanny at work doesn't let me check webmail OR log
into newsgroups, so I've got to wait until I get home to catch up. And to
make matters worse, I'm in Australia, so that vast majority of you will be in
a different time zone anyway.

Enough rambling, get back to work.

Is there any chance you could post a screenshot or some of the code so
can better understand what this does and how it works

Thanks,
