File with VB programming wont open

I have an Excel Workbook with 68 worksheets. VB Programming has been
added to this file to enable users to click on a checkbox against the
name of the worksheet they require and the worksheet becomes unhidden.

Any ideas what might cause this? When it was first published it was
fine. It was republished with a couple of changes to text and a formula
on 2 of the sheets. No changes were made to the VB code. Now the file
wont open on workstations using WindowsXP and Office 2000.

Any other combination of operating systems and Office seem to be
working ok.

Hi Yvonne,

See Chip Pearson's Startup Error page at:

http://www.cpearson.com/excel/StartupErrors.htm

Additionally, a number of people have favourably reported on the ability of
the Openoffice suite to open problematic Excel files.

Open Office is freely downloadable at:

http://www.openoffice.org/

This is a hefty 60MB+ download, but is also available on CD.
