Macro

I would like to learn about use of Macros in Excel.......I know how to record
a macro through a recorder, but there is a limitiaion to it. So I would like
to understand the macro code and make changes and additions to it.

Macro

If you go to edit a macro, (Alt-F8 then Edit), the Visual Basic editor
window will open. Select Help in here and read up on what you want to do.

Hi Mandeep,

see David McRitchie's 'Getting Started with Macros and User Defined
Functions' page at:

http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/getstarted.htm

Invest in a good introductory book to Excel programming. The books written
by John Walkenbach are widely acclaimed and frequently recommended in the
NG. See here for a list of JW books:

http://www.j-walk.com/ss/books/index.htm

More particularly, perhaps JW's 'Excel Programming For Dummies' might
represent a good initial investment:

Norman
