Macro
I would like to learn about use of Macros in Excel.......I know how to record
a macro through a recorder, but there is a limitiaion to it. So I would like to understand the macro code and make changes and additions to it. |
Macro
If you go to edit a macro, (Alt-F8 then Edit), the Visual Basic editor
window will open. Select Help in here and read up on what you want to do. Ian --- "Mandeep Dhami" wrote in message ... Hi Mandeep,
see David McRitchie's 'Getting Started with Macros and User Defined Functions' page at: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/getstarted.htm Invest in a good introductory book to Excel programming. The books written by John Walkenbach are widely acclaimed and frequently recommended in the NG. See here for a list of JW books: http://www.j-walk.com/ss/books/index.htm More particularly, perhaps JW's 'Excel Programming For Dummies' might represent a good initial investment: http://www.j-walk.com/ss/books/bookxl27.htm --- Regards, Norman "Mandeep Dhami" wrote in message ...
