Stop directory & folders changing in link when moving file
I am at my wits end with what appears to be a simple problem!
workbook b links to workbook a workbook b is opened by a macro in workbook a all is perfect, except i need to write it to disk and then the user saves it back to hardrive, this results in a series of directory and folder name changes. essentially the final products end up in the same state they started out in, but the linking formula in Workbook b's cells has automatically changed the path name, which doesn't automatically change back as it has now become read-only due to the burning process. Is there any way of stopping the drive letter in my formula (C:) from changing (to D:)when I copy and paste? Any advice would be great. Thanks Bella |
