File size...
Howdie...
I have a small workbook (3sheets) that uses advanced filter to copy and paste data from sheet A to Sheet C. The total list of data in sheet A is just 10 lines, and my filter selects and copies two lines of this to a sheet c, but yet my file size is 4 megs. Sheets A and Sheets C are the big ones (If I delete them file size drops) but as they contain hardly any data I dont know why... Any macros or ideas that I can do to solve the problem... are most welcome... Regards D *** Sent via Developersdex http://www.developersdex.com *** |

in sheet A, do Edit=Goto=special and select last cell.
If you go way past row 10, then that is your problem. You need to go to the namebox, then type in 11:65536 and hit enter. Then Edit=Delete Repeat in Sheet C. Now save the workbook. these resets the number of Cells Excel is maintaining detailed information on. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "Darin Kramer" wrote in message ... Howdie...
