how to select first non blank cell in a column (eg. A)
starting row 1

If your columnd is filled with constants (entered values)

Range("A:A").SpecialCells(xlCellTypeConstants)(1). Select

If it has formulas
Range("A:A").SpecialCells(xlCellTypeFormulas)(1).S elect
