Hi,
The best way I have found to keep a group together is to creat another field, column, and give each group a unique ID. Thanks, "steve" wrote: i just grouped some rows together in my spreadsheet. that worked great, but now i have trouble sorting and keeping this groups in the right order. any suggestions? thanks steve |

You're right, i did that before and it worked. But i did have a quick
question about a helper column like that. the group will all have the same value in that additional column. will excel always keep the order within the group the same? Hi,
Maybe you can use two cheater columns? Have not tried it, but I think a 1A, 1B, 1C, 2A, 2B, 3B, etc might work too.
