Hi

I use a running log in excel. Is there a wayy that I can get excel to open
up the log ready to enter data for the current day's entry?

Hi,

Do you mean that you have one spreadsheet that you want opened each
time excel opens and then find the right place according to the date?

I assume you know how to save a file to your xlstart directory to open
it every time excel opens. Then you just need to add code to the
workbook open event to find the right place based upon the date, but
this depends on what you how your sheet is formatted etc.

If you require any more help I will need a bit more information.
