Default Worksheet_Change not throwed when adding a row

in microsoft excel 2000 when I add a row the event "Worksheet_Change" is not
throw.
It works fine on excel 2003
Is it normal ?

Then how can I know i someone has added a row in excel 2000 ?

Default Worksheet_Change not throwed when adding a row

That capability was added in one of the later versions (although as I
recall, it didn't fire when you deleted a row). I think XP (2002). So
there is no event for this in earlier versions.
