Sales with quarter and annual totals
Is there a quick way to program rows 10, 11, 12, 13 and Columns F and H to creat totals? Column 5 is a the first quarter total. Column 6 is the grand total. Other months, quarter and annual totals will be added for a total of 3+ years. Coulmn B is always sorted. Rows are added daily. Rows are never deleted. Notice the empty rows at top and side. The number of empty rows and columns may vary. --------------------------------- Lost in the woods - Don't know where to begin! - Craigm ---------------------------------- A B C D E F G H 1 2 3 Jan Feb Mar 1st Qtr Apr Total 4 Nuts 1.50 1.00 2.00 3.50 3.00 6.50 5 Nuts 1.00 1.25 0.50 1.50 0.25 1.75 6 Nuts 3.25 1.50 1.25 4.75 2.25 7.00 7 Soap 6.00 1.00 4.25 0.25 3.50 13.75 8 Soap 5.50 1.75 4.75 10.25 3.25 13.50 9 Veg 2.25 0.50 3.50 5.75 1.00 6.75 10 Total Sales 42.75 56.00 11 Total Nuts 5.75 3.75 3.75 13.25 5.50 18.75 12 Total Soap 11.50 2.75 9.00 23.25 6.75 30.00 13 Total Veg 2.25 .50 3.50 6.25 1.00 7.25 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- Craigm ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Craigm's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=24381 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=383088 |
Sales with quarter and annual totals
Hi Craigm,
I think that you can solve your problem by using SUMIF formula. Check excel help for it, it is not a big deal. |
