copying data

hi to all!

I have a problem, i need a macro/VBA that will extract the data from
range.("C5") of different workbooks and paste it to the column A of
masterlist workbook. I'm having problems because i don't know what code
to use so that i don't have to specify the file name of the different
workbook and don't have to open all the workbooks one by one.

i've been searching but still no luck and the fact that i'm new in VBA
does not help... :(

any help is greatly appreciated...

Why don't you try to record a macro and then edit it??
