VBA Program to Email-able Toolbar
So I have been paitently working on getting my VBA program in Excel to work
and am finally there. Now I want someone to test it for me and have a friend that will do so. I want to attach it as an addin or as a toolbar for him to install, I know how to assign a macro to a toolbar but how do I send it to him in an email, or how do I create an addin for him to install and then be able to use as a tool bar, any help will be great. Thanks Sean |
VBA Program to Email-able Toolbar
Build the toolbar using code for best results. Save the xls as an addin
(xla) and send it to him. That's it. ******************* ~Anne Troy www.OfficeArticles.com www.MyExpertsOnline.com "Sean" wrote in message ... This might be a help:
http://www.bygsoftware.com/examples/excel_addin.htm It contains a workbook download that shows how to create an interactive add-in controlled by a toolbar. The toolbar is created when the add-in is loaded, and deleted when the add-in is closed. The code is open and commented. -- Andy Wiggins FCCA www.BygSoftware.com Excel, Access and VBA Consultancy - "Sean" wrote in message ... The other posters talked about creating a toolbar in code, very
powerful, but maybe too much. Simple solution: Save your XLS as addin (XLA) Create a new toolbar. Set your Addin property for your XLA to false(VBE select XLA workbook and see proporties window). Add Macro to toolbar(should now be visible). Select XLA workbook in Excel Attach your Toolbar to XLA Sett Isaddin = True In XLA Workbook close event Commandbars("Mycommandbar").Delete This should work without coding anything extra. DM Unseen |
