2005 Excel User Conference

Hopefully I am not breaking any tabus, but I see this event as an extension
of this forum and an idea that originated on the Excel-L / Excel-G mailing
lists.

Just wanted to let everyone know registration period is open for the 2005
Excel User Conference. Details can be found at:
http://www.exceluserconference.com/

The conference will take place on Friday, September 16, 2005 - Saturday,
September 17, 2005 and will be held at Stockyards Hotel Fort Worth, Texas
USA. Mark your calendars and make plans to attend. This will be your
opportunity to meet some of the regular posters and learn from some of the
"masters". Don't miss out!!

Everyone is welcome to help spread the word about this event. Messages
posted in other forums in which you participate would be appreciated. We
would appreciate links on your web pages, along with a short note.

I would like to personally thank everyone who volunteered to help put this
together: Bruce Kaufmann, Alesa Ward, Robin Porter, David Miley and Kandra
Young.

We should all thank the individuals who volunteered to lead the sessions:

Bob Umlas

Olav Mjelde

Jon Peltier (Tentative)

Bill Eddings

Patrick O'Beirne

Thanks for the invitation, Damon.
I'd love to come there, but the air fare from London and hotel accommodation
would cost me over 1K US$. (that's without taking the family, who would
insist on coming with)
Could you arrange an event for us Europeans?

There was a group interested in putting a conference together in the UK, but
I have not heard from them in a couple months.
