Accessing personal macro's all the time

Wow, I'm going to have to get used to some responses not showing up on
the board for a while. I didn't know there were a bunch of responses
that hadn't appeared yet before I made my last post. Anyway, I don't
think my question was really answered. Lastnight I went thru my Excel
book and I think I found my answer....

When I tried to add a button to my toolbar, there were only the
"Custom Menu Item" & "Custom Button" option unders Macros, and
that button option has a silly smiley face, so I didn't want to use
that. I didn't know that all I had to do was use that smiley face,
then change the image and assign my macro to the button. So it's
like this, broken down:

1. Right-click on toolbar and select the Customize option
2. Select teh Commands tab
3. Select the Macros category
4. Drag a Custom Button to the toolbar
5. Right click on new Custom Button and select Change Button Image
option and then select a new icon
6. Right click on new Custon Button and select Assign Macro... and
select the macro to assign to the button

Too bad this info was way back around chapter 20 of my book. I like
the book, but dammit, I want to be able to use the stuff I'm making
during the first 20 chapters too.

Thanks all for your input!

Eugene
