protection
I have a spreadsheet that is quite complex and contains a number of buttons
with macros assigned . The worksheet is well protected from tampering but I have to ununprotect at the beginning of each macro and protect again at the end of each macro because I need to change cells within the macro. I cannot use a password within the macro as it seems to get ignored although the sheet is protected wiithout a password Why is this so and why do I have to use a the same password to protect and hide I would like to hide all my formulas using a different password to that which I might use for protection of cells ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
