Excel and .NET
I'm a novice coder, but I thought I could expand my macros by combinin and enhancing them on .NET. So I copy/pasted them in only to find tha VB.NET doesn't speak VBA. Can somebody put up a link or something on how these two can wor together? Do I just need to declare something @ the beginning of th sub? Any help would be appreciated -- Ramthebuff ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Ramthebuffs's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...fo&userid=1642 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread.php?threadid=38026 |
Excel and .NET
I'm using Excel '03 by the way. Since the first post I've found a couple of bits of info that make me feel like I may be headed in the right direction. One says to Dim xlApp as Excel.Application, but I don't think its working. Maybe its an '02 thing? The other says to use Extended Properties = Excel Am I on the right track? Is there anywhere on the web I can find some working code with these in use? I'm gonna do a search on this forum to see if I can find anything, but I'm starting to feel like I'm in rough seas. -- Ramthebuffs ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ramthebuffs's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=16429 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=380267 |
