it must be 8 numerical fields but some numbers are well let me show you an example. 01234567 12345678 123 47864 3456763 They need to fixed up to look like: 01234567 12345678 00000123 00047864 03456763 How do I get excell 2003 to do this for me? Or does it need to be a script of some sort? |

unless Microsoft made some radical changes between Office 2000 and Office
2003 you could select the range you want formatted and Click on Format/Cells, select custom format and key in 00000000 in the text box.
