Words Equal Numbers Question
Is there any way to enter a word in one cell and have it equal a numbe in another cell? Yes, but you need to define the lookup table that translates the name into a
number. VLOOKUP function will accept text strings so you could have a table of names and related price(s) that when you enter a name it supplies the price.
