I have a parameter query that works fine on my PC, but will not refresh for a
co-worker. I am using Excel 2003 and he is using Excel '97. I used the work around of using a cell reference, as explained in the MSDN Knowledge base, but it did not "work". I have 2 queries that work the same. One queries an Access '97 database, and the other queries an Excel '97 spreadsheet, so I do not think the "problem" is the data source. Any suggestions/comments? Thanks, |

did you try creating the query from scratch (in a new workbook) on the Excel
'97 PC? I would get it working there as a first step. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "MER" wrote in message ... I have a parameter query that works fine on my PC, but will not refresh for a co-worker. That's about the only thing I have NOT tried. :) I'll give it a shot, but I'd
like to know what is causing the problem. Thanks! "Tom Ogilvy" wrote: did you try creating the query from scratch (in a new workbook) on the Excel '97 PC? If you record a query in each version, you will see there are many
enhancements between xl97 and xl2003. I can only guess that perhaps xl97 doesn't recognize something in the xl2003 stored instructions and isn't working. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "MER" wrote in message ...
