TEXTBOX DROPDOWN
Some textboxes that I use on the web have a function where they
remember the previous entries that have been typed into them, and either show the user in the form of a dropdown or complete the spelling of the users entry: is there a way to use the registery to do the above? i suppose to make a textbox dropdown the 5 most recent entries is gonna be either impossible or involve a lot of API calls - any workaround ideas out there? |

Don't know why you would need to use the registry; you could create a range
in your workbook - on a hidden sheet if needed - and store the last 5 selections there. You would need, of course, to maintain this list (every time user makes a selection, update it and also check for duplicates, etc.) but it does not seem to be to hard to implement, to me.
