Character Set 032 vs 160
Hi ......,
In Rich Text Format, the 160 would be called a Required Blank, in HTML it is called a non-breaking space ( ). The difference is that a line should not be broken on non-breaking space. If you have non-breaking spaces after copying from HTML and want to remove them from cells and then trim the cells see TRIMALL macro in http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/join.htm#trimall --- HTH, David McRitchie, Microsoft MVP - Excel [site changed Nov. 2001] My Excel Pages: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/excel.htm Search Page: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/search.htm "snax500" wrote in message oups.com...
