Even in a column with 5 items in a 20000 row worksheet the autofilter

Unfortunally (sp?) it's a big problem. I can't fix it with the
suggestions in your link. Now i am programming an option to bypass this
problem (code to find items in the list and then flag it with a letter
in column 1)...
