Another save as question
Hi all,
saw a similar question to mine earlier, but I am too stupid to figure out the tweaking I need to do myself. I have created a file name to save as using cell values, however, I want to allow the user to specify the folder to which to save this file without changing the file name. Any help would be much appreciated. Regards |

You could let the user pick the folder:
Jim Rech has a BrowseForFolder routine at: http://www.oaltd.co.uk/MVP/Default.htm (look for BrowseForFolder) John Walkenbach has one at: http://j-walk.com/ss/excel/tips/tip29.htm If you and all your users are running xl2002+, take a look at VBA's help for: application.filedialog(msoFileDialogFolderPicker) FrigidDigit wrote: Hi all, saw a similar question to mine earlier, but I am too stupid to figure out the tweaking I need to do myself.
