ODBC and VBA
hi
i am new to VBA in excel and i am tasked to program a simple ODBC connection from excel to query/update/delete/insert some tables in another database. (eg Sybase, MSSQL) I searched the web but couldn't find one with an example that shows the proper way to connect , do the query , display it to excel worksheet and then close the data connectoin. Can anyone show me how to do it by an example ? or even a site that shows how to do it ? thanks. |
