Date values Problem

Hi

Can anyone help why do date values, sometimes convert to an interger value I
think its the serial date number, is there anyway to avoid this from
happening?

Date values Problem

A date is an integer value, the number of days since 1st Jan 1900. When you
see a date on a spreadsheet, it is just that number formatted as a date.

You cannot change that, but it can be managed. It probably just needs
formatting the cells beforehand. When are you seeing it as a number?

Date values Problem

Hi

Dates in excel are always stored as a serial number - how you see them is
simply formatting. So if they show as a "number", just click on one that
has the formatting you want, click on the format painter (big yellow
paintbrush on the standard toolbar) and then click on the one that needs to
be formatted.
