Try something like this...

In Cell A1 put in the anniversary date.
In Cell B1 ad the formula '=Today()'
In Cell C1 add the formula '=B1 - A1'
Make sure that cell C1 is formated as a number and you will get the number
of days that have elapsed since the hire date. Is this what you are looking
for???
