copy a sheet with all formats - column widths, etc?
I need to copy a worksheet several times within a workbook. But when I
select a worksheet and paste it into a new worksheet, I lose most of the formatting, like colum/row widths. Is there a way to copy a worksheet within a workbook or turn a worksheet into a new worksheet? The only way I can see to do this right now is to create a copy of the workbook. But I need the new sheets inside the same workbook. The only other thing I can think of is to create the new worksheets with vba, but that would be quite tedious as I have several formats. Is there a simpler way? Thanks |

Hi there,
How about right clicking the sheet tab and selecting Move or Copy, check Create Copy..? Would that not work for you? If not, I have misunderstood your query. Thanks. Yes. That did the trick. It never occured to me to look at all the
options on the context menu. "zackb" wrote: Hi there, How about right clicking the sheet tab and selecting Move or Copy, check Create Copy..? Would that not work for you?
